The beginning of Buddha to Buddha
Buddha to Buddha began in 1997, when the jeweler's founder decided to take a meditation trip through Southeast Asia. When he got there, much of his time went to drawing. Working with a local goldsmith, he brought his sketches to life. The first piece of jewelry? The Batul Bracelet.
Buddha to Buddha is more than just jewelry, it is a lifestyle that embraces life and all its contradictions. It looks down on the fast-paced, always busy lifestyle that is seen as the norm today. "Why all the rush?" They deliberately take a step back to reunite with the world and those who live in it. Artists with endless passion, creative minds and people who are not afraid to take risks for the things they care about most.
Craftsmanship is at the heart of the jeweler. From design to production, designers in Amsterdam and goldsmiths from Bali work together to create beautiful pieces. For example, the Chain bracelet takes an average of 5 days to put together. Most of the time and work goes into the clasp, which has as many as 28 different pieces. Even the leather on the pieces is woven by hand by professionals.
Whether it's a ring, necklace or bracelet: every piece of jewelry from Buddha to Buddha is made with a lot of time, passion and very steady handwork.
