Luxury, strength and beauty - with 3 days power reserve and the highest performance

From the 3-day power reserve to the hand-polished finish, this model from the Heritage Collection embodies the Grand Seiko standard in all its glory! The amazing movement of the 9S65 calibre has a power reserve of 3 days and guarantees a high accuracy and stability. All this is in a 37mm stainless steel case, of which the delicacy, strength and beauty of the movement can be admired through the case back. Combined with a simple strap, black dial and Grand Seiko's high-quality finishing touch, is this a luxury everyday watch!

Calibre 9S65 is the most standard automatic movement that typifies the 9S mechanical series. The old and new movements may appear to have a similar design, but they are utterly different in terms of performance.

Grand Seiko has not only revised the materials used to make this movement, but also applied MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical System) technology, which utilizes semi-conductor manufacturing technology, to the production of the watch parts. Grand Seiko has significantly enhanced the basic performance of this timepiece, and has also redesigned the way in which the oscillating weight winds the mainspring.

The winding system of its predecessor, Calibre 9S55, used Grand Seiko's Magic Lever mechanism. By contrast, Calibre 9S65 uses reverser gear train system. Hardening the components has helped improve the durability of the reverser system, which had been a weakness.
