These seven new Seiko 5 Sports creations are inspired by two immensely popular Japanese animations, NARUTO and BORUTO. On each model an important character from one of the animations plays a central role: Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Lee and Gaara from NARUTO; Boruto and Sarada from BORUTO.
NARUTO was first broadcast in Japan in 2002, and since then has built up a huge fan base in the rest of the world. BORUTO is the sequel to the series with Naruto's son - Boruto Uzumaki - as the central figure and is still being continued today.

CASE BACK
On the back of the cabinet is the Kamon of the Nara-clan printed, and the serial number from 0001/6500 to 6500/6500 to indicate that it is a limited edition.
Caliber 4R36
The 4R36 Seiko caliber with day/date display is a mechanical caliber. The watch automatically recharges itself during wear by converting the wearer's arm and wrist movements into energy. Movement of the watch causes the main spring of the watch to excite. This spring is the source of energy. Hand-winding is also possible. When fully charged, the watch has an energy reserve of approx. 41 hours. The ticking number of this machine is 21,600 per hour and the watch has 24 jewels. The 4R calibre is manufactured entirely in-house.
